Author and poet, Mr. Yassin Aref, visits the Agora Vision Company office in Sulaimani.

Soon our two dear brothers and friends "Hersh Sheikh Omer and Dr. Hemin Sheikh Omer" will announce great news for the Kurdish people, particularly book lovers, and will publish an audiobook application.

There is no doubt that this era is the era of technology and the digital world. Audio-Books will certainly become more popular than printed books. We all know that the world has changed and that the time for reading has lessened. Therefore, audiobooks are a necessity for these times and they will be very useful because they can be listened to while traveling, driving, exercising, walking, resting, and even working. On the other hand, those who are blind and those who are not very fond of reading can listen to books that are read to them clearly and beautifully.

I would like to thank them for accepting two of my books in Agora Deng Application. The first is, Son of Mountains in English and the second is 15 Years in American Prisons in Kurdish. 

Because this book has not been proofread, it requires careful reading, time, and review. However, Hersh Sheikh Omar has put aside all these obstacles, has taken on the task of proofreading the book, and volunteered to calmly read the book in his inspirational voice. I am very grateful to him that despite his busy schedule, he has devoted all this time to my book.

I wish you success with this project. There is no doubt that it is a great service to our Kurdish culture, language, and literature. Tens of thousands of Kurdish refugees abroad can now easily listen to books in Kurdish, gather important information, and enjoy a fun and beneficial time with audiobooks.

Agora Vision, by its name and content, connects history with the future.

Agora is a Greek word that means a platform that allows freedom of speech and an open market. Vision means an idea and plan for the future. Together, they are the name of an electronic audiobook project. So that Kurds have their voice and color in the digital world.

Last Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, I visited their office and saw their work up close. The passion and dedication that these visionaries have for their program and their confidence in themselves and the future of their project assured me that they will continue to grow in the future with God's help. Their project should be considered a great service to the people and the country before it is considered a great commercial project.

Once again, I wish success to our cousin Mr. Hersh Sheikh Omar, and this audiobook project.
